Cyberpunk 2077 Drops to $20 Across Major Platforms

After a rocky launch that saw Sony and Microsoft offering extended refunds, Cyberpunk 2077 has quietly become one of the most improved games of the generation. CD Projekt Red invested years into squashing bugs, polishing content, and releasing the Phantom Liberty expansion in 2023. Now, the game is on sale across nearly every platform, making it easier than ever to explore Night City.

The standard edition is currently $17.99 on Steam and Xbox, down from $59.99. The Ultimate Edition, which includes Phantom Liberty, is $33.10 on Steam and $33.60 on Xbox. Sony's PlayStation store lists the base game at $19.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $35.49. GameStop offers pre-owned physical copies for Xbox One and PS4 at $18.99, which upgrade to current-gen versions for free on Xbox Series X/S or PS5.

At launch in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 was notorious for its glitches and performance issues, leading to widespread refunds. Since then, CD Projekt Red has transformed the game into a visually stunning experience, now often used as a benchmark for PC and console hardware. While the most advanced ray tracing remains exclusive to certain platforms, the game delivers impressive visuals across the board.
