Lenovo has introduced two affordable gaming monitors, the Legion 24-1r and Legion 27-1r, designed for budget-conscious gamers. The 23.8-inch model is priced at around $99 (669 yuan), while the 27-inch version costs roughly $116 (789 yuan), as reported by NotebookCheck.
Both monitors feature 1080p IPS panels with a 280Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms MPRT response time. They support AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA Adaptive-Sync for smoother gameplay. However, the full 280Hz is only achievable via DisplayPort; HDMI connections are limited to 240Hz. Enabling MPRT disables FreeSync and may cause flickering, requiring users to choose between motion clarity and variable refresh rate.
The 1080p resolution is ideal for competitive titles like Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, and Overwatch 2, where high frame rates are critical. The smaller 23.8-inch panel offers sharper visuals at this resolution, while the 27-inch model may appear softer. HDR10 support is included, but with 400 nits brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, HDR performance is expected to be basic.
Ergonomically, both monitors offer height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments, plus VESA mounting compatibility (100x100mm). Lenovo has not announced an official global launch, but their appearance in the company's product reference database suggests an international release may be forthcoming.
