Palit has announced the global debut of RiTONA, its digital brand ambassador, alongside a special-edition GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB RiTONA OC graphics card. The company has not yet disclosed the card's price, release date or which regions will receive it. The announcement was first reported by YugaTech.

RiTONA was originally introduced in Japan in 2022. This updated version keeps her mint-green hair and adds Palit's yellow branding, along with a cape inspired by the company's GameRock graphics cards. She is accompanied by a cat-slime companion named Gelo.

The card itself uses a white dual-fan design with 10.2cm fans, ARGB lighting and a metal backplate featuring RiTONA. Palit says it includes 0-dB technology, which allows the fans to stop under low loads, and the card measures 23.4cm in length.

On the specification side, the RTX 5060 Ti model carries 8GB of GDDR7 memory, 4,608 CUDA cores and a 2,587MHz boost clock. It supports Nvidia DLSS 4 and Reflex 2, is built on the Blackwell architecture and requires a recommended 600W system power supply.

What this means for buyers in the Philippines and Southeast Asia is unclear, because Palit has not confirmed whether the card will be sold in the region. The absence of pricing and a release window makes it difficult to judge how the special edition will compare with standard RTX 5060 Ti cards on cost or value. For local system builders and retailers, the main practical takeaway is the card's physical size and power requirement: at 23.4cm long and with a 600W recommended PSU, it should fit many mid-tower cases but may push buyers toward a higher-capacity power supply than they would need for lower-tier GPUs.

The mascot angle is also notable for Palit's branding strategy. RiTONA's return after her 2022 Japan debut, now with a global announcement, suggests the company wants to use character-driven marketing beyond a single market. That approach is common in the PC hardware space, particularly in Asia, where anime-style mascots have been used to differentiate products that otherwise share reference designs. Whether that translates into regional sales will depend on distribution plans Palit has not yet shared.

For now, the announcement is best treated as a product reveal without commercial details. The specifications are confirmed by Palit's announcement as reported, but the price, launch timing and availability are not. Buyers in the Philippines and Southeast Asia should wait for local retailer listings before making purchasing decisions, especially since the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB already exists in other Palit configurations and the RiTONA version may carry a premium for its design and branding.
