A new artificial intelligence model called Ox Alpha is attracting attention because of what it can do—and because nobody has publicly claimed it.

The model appeared on OpenRouter under the identifier stealth/ox-alpha. Its listing describes a reasoning system designed for coding, sustained agentic work and production workloads. The preview accepts text, images and video as inputs and produces text, according to public model metadata.

A large context window, with important caveats

OpenRouter's current listing gives Ox Alpha a context window of 1,048,576 tokens and a maximum output of 131,072 tokens. Those limits suggest it could process unusually large codebases or document collections, but capacity is not the same as accuracy. Developers still need representative evaluations before trusting it with production work.

The model is being offered free during its preview. That price and its availability can change without notice, and a temporary test route should not be treated as a dependable long-term service.
